Exit Strategy End Times: “Chairman Kim, we are Christians first, Americans second.”

blowing shofar3

“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

Dear Chairman Kim of South Korea,

Sir, we are Christians first, Americans second.

I have readers in China and I am hoping somehow this reaches you.

Please receive this letter with my appreciation of your time and consideration.

Thank you for meeting with President Trump recently. I hope you enjoyed your visit to America.

Chairman Kim, I am a Christian. I am a Christian first and an American second. This may be confusing.

Christians brought their beliefs to this country and then this country became known as a Christian nation. Over the decades those with a non-Christian agenda have prevailed at times to the damage of our national Christian reputation.

Considering all things American’s believe we have been on the correct side of most world events until the last several Presidents and their administrations. Chairman Kim, respectfully, my point is that Christianity is not the enemy.

The principals of Christianity have prevailed over most of America’s history. In recent times others have attempted to destroy America by attacking our families, our financial stability, our spiritual unity, and the conservative movement within our government. In all cases they attempt to pervert the traditional (Christian) views and insert their Globalist view.

Those who do this sometimes refer to themselves as Christians but they are not “followers of Christ.” They instead support policies that are in direct opposition to Christianity. So why is this something for you to consider?

The election of President Trump was a direct result of Christians recognizing the agenda of others and voting to stop them. Even non-Christians saw the deceit and manipulation of these enemies of America and voted to overthrow the female candidate in favor of candidate Trump.

In his inaugural speech President Trump said openly that America is protected by God. Christians everywhere in the world, including in your nation said “Amen” which means “so be it.”

How might this fact be of benefit to your leadership and your people?

Chairman Kim, we are Christians first, and then we love our countries. As you know there are possibly millions of Christians in North Korea and I can say confidently in every nation on earth. So why do I write this respectful appeal to you Mr. Chairman?

America, a Christian nation which has been your enemy at times, is not so only because we are Christians. It is so because Christians have not always been in control of national policy or we believed others needed our help to resist aggression against them.  Because Christianity is in fact a non-aggressive belief, aggression by others is not looked upon with favor.

In recent administrations America has been influenced by a non-Christian agenda. This agenda will also influence and overcome you and your nation if America is over come by it. America’s survival will help all nations survive globalism.

Globalism is attacking all nations’ great and small, smothering them with troubles that only the strongest will survive and only if they see and resist wisely. This last presidential election in America was a major set-back against the globalist agenda.

Chairman Kim, I am sure you understand Nationalism here or in any nation is the opposite of Globalism. Russia’s Mr. Putin loves Russia and wants it to stay Russia with its history and national uniqueness. China is a beautiful nation also and needs to remain so. America and other nations, like Israel, want to remain unique in this world.

A one-world government, “Globalism,” would mean much of every nation’s uniqueness will disappear, one government, one military, and one religion. Its history is to be re-written and its character becomes impressed upon it by outsiders. Every nation is a target. I have written about the possible ramifications of this happening to a lost America including attacks upon us by Russia as she struggles to keep her own nationalism. Ultimately even Mother Russia also will fall to the molestation of Globalism.

We might say “no way” but preventing this takeover must come from the strength of a nation not militarily but by the convictions of its people and the government serving them.

Sincere nationalism can be achieved by greater measure the more her citizens support the government and its policies. In America, Christian policies are imperative to the majority. Their “peaceful existence,” is paramount to achieving this unity of any people.

Do you know Chairman Kim that Christians are instructed to honor the authorities, the administrations, and governments over them?  We are told in our bibles that God has placed you in power.

Romans 13:1-2 (New American Standard Bible 1977)
“Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
2 Therefore he who resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.”

Chairman Kim the bible goes on to say much more in favor of you, the authority over North Korea. By doing so it gives you new information, a new perspective to consider for the benefit of your nation and your administration.

Chairman Kim, your Christian citizens are not your enemy. Please do not see them as Americans hiding in your country. Their beliefs demand they respect you and only if they are threatened by authority, when they have done nothing wrong, do they reject authority. It is the same in any country. Seldom do mature Christians act aggressively. It is forbidden in the Word of God. Even as a Christian nation, whatever aggression America has shown in the past was in response to unwarranted aggression.

Over many decades the conflict between our countries has had the underlying persecution of Christians blazing in the background. Much progress might be made between our nations if you would consider a change in national policy toward Christians.

You sir are wise enough to see the potential of uniting an alienated segment of your population with your leadership. They are not militant they are pacifists by command. The few Christians who have not understood this will be chastised (corrected) into submission by more mature Christians in order to protect the greater number of Christians. These more numerous will appreciate your monumental change in national policy.

As long as Christians are considered criminals that national policy, anywhere in the world, creates a growing population that will support an uprising just as our people did against Adolph Hitler. He called himself a Christian! No way was he a Christian, Chairman Kim.

I do not speak for my government in this transmission but Mr. Trump has declared our national protection “under God.” Our nation by majority agrees.

That being said, as long as Christians have anything to say about national policy, we will only defend ourselves as a nation and will not initiate any aggressive policy toward any country anywhere.

Will America defend herself against aggression? Yes, absolutely and with more than enough force to preserve our nation’s security. However this is not a conflict America is hungry for. She is only standing guard against harm.

Instead, please Chairman Kim, let the fear of aggression be put away, not to be suffered by either of our countries or our allies.

Let that process begin by a gesture so monumental as to elevate your legacy within the hearts of your countrymen beyond your greatest expectations and your borders. You are their leader and do not require it, however, why not gain what can only be gained by your own authority, generosity and wisdom.

I can assure you as an American Christian first and as an American citizen second, we will be impressed as will our President and those Christians counseling him. The view of your action will be met with great approval world-wide. Your nation will set a standard to be followed by many nations who do not yet realize the wisdom you will have acted upon.

Chairman Kim, please let Christians be free to openly be Christian North Koreans.

Generously sir, please consider removing policies that oppress and persecute Christians unnecessarily. They are your citizens but must be committed to Christianity first. This is no harm to you or your nation. Instead welcome their faithfulness to their nation by freeing them to worship in their way.

I believe our God, even if you do not believe in Him, will have favor upon you just for the wisdom of such a decision benefiting those He calls His children.

Thank you, Chairman Kim, for considering this nation changing, even world changing suggestion.

Respectfully Sir,

James Michael Evans

Exit Strategy End Times: “Unforgiveness and the Band Aid of agreement.” “

blowing shofar3

“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

A friend or family member who wants to see you happy may do so at the cost of your real freedom. They “lovingly” apply the Band-Aid of agreement sensing they have met your need. They either do not know of or see your deep heart wounds or they think your temporary happiness is the goal when true heart-rich liberty is God’s goal. Forgive them. You put them in that spot. Friends are seldom objective counselors.

Agreeing with you only counts if you are right in your thinking. If you are not, if there are two sides to the story, they have endangered themselves by agreeing or condoning your actions, falling prey to a common scheme of the devil. (2 Cor 2:10-11 NASB)

God’s goal is the kingdom abiding within us. Matthew 6:10 “Thy will be done, Thy kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven.” The result (as it is in heaven) is joy unspeakable, full of glory! It is our responsibility to pursue the kingdom within us, with Him, into eternity!

Loved ones the past is a plague which the love of Jesus inoculates us against if we are willing, out of our love for Him and what He has done for us, to endure the pain of His injection of Truth. It is Truth that sets us free, a tiny amount of required often painful review  so “anti-bodies” will rise against our destructive carnal reactions to memories and fears no longer allowing our souls, our very lives and loves, to be infected by our past.

All men or women are not the same as those who deeply wounded you. It is rare that you would again become drawn to or see fearful behavior except you have an expectation from your past that sooner or later they, men or women or people in general,  will “show their true colors.” Your belief that they will is the problem, not them.

Your “faith” in this expectation is powerful and God knows it. Look at the situation you are in. How much fear is involved?

Heaven will not have it! You must understand this. That which is not allowed in heaven will never get in. Neither will the person contaminated with it. We all have our chance to grasp freedom. Being comfortable in our victim-hood is a curse!  “It’s not my fault people keep doing this to me!”

God wants us to see where, to go all the way back to those maybe several, who actually harmed us, so we will get set free of our past. To do this God will use whoever is close to you (a new husband especially) to show you what is in your heart! Husbands are to cleanse like Christ does. A Godly husband will pursue your freedom out of love. Jesus models this with the church.

If you are listening, God is asking, “Where have you seen this behavior before?” Why, ultimately because that affliction cannot be in your heart when you pass into eternity. Immediately, so you will not blame the one trying to help you!

That’s right loved one. Heaven will not have you with that infection in your heart and relationships are doomed for the same reason. Not knowing you have poisoned yourself is bad enough let alone others.

Jesus said, “Whatever you allow must be allowed in heaven. Whatever is not allowed in heaven must not be allowed here, especially in your heart. You may bind, or you may loose. (His kingdom come!)

In this life, it is like you are infected and in seeking relief from your woe’s you are passing your offense along to others, harming them through the Band Aid of Agreement.

As a victim of your expectations you are breaking the heart of that one close to you, just as yours was broken by others. Your heart may have never been given, out of fear.

Those close to you are taking up your offense and a low grade unforgiveness has now infected them. Low grade, high grade, unforgiveness is what it is; a curse on all. They all are being defiled.

The Word says, “See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up [in you] causes trouble, [in them] and by it many be defiled; “  Hebrews 12:15 (NASB77) [my notations]

Ask this question. “Is my family, my brothers and sisters, are my children, happy, loving, in love, Godly, or are they like what they saw in me or in our childhood? Was there, is there, dysfunction, anger, fear, physical and or verbal abuse, hatred, criticism, rejection, separation or divorce?

All you or they had to do, good or bad, is agree with or condone someone’s actions and compound it by speaking to others accordingly. Disaster upon them! Matthew 7:1-2 comes into play and there is NO escaping it, except they repent.

So are we seeing our offensive history in others? Are we ourselves repeating it?

Are we denying that what we see in that one close to us is not in their history but now we are seeing it? This is dramatically common.

It is the inescapable rules within the Word of God. If we judge it comes back upon us. If we fail to grant grace (truly forgive) it harms us and defiles those close to us and spreads from there. (Matthew 7:1-2, Hebrews 12:15.)

The knowledge of God’s Word is meant to free us not damage us!

Therefore, imagine a joy in this life that is beyond words, it is unspeakable and full of glory! It is a love like you have never known before. Such freedom, such a reward for submitting to God’s Way is ours for the pursuing. Eternity is at stake.

Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14 NASB)

Think of it, your past no longer comes up or enters into your considerations of future relationships. Your God and your embracing of His Truth have set you free.

You trust people again because you know you are trustworthy. Why, because you have finally chosen well. If you can chose well so can others, especially in like faith.

You blamed yourself for those bad experiences and relationships did you not? They were not totally your fault if at all in some cases, but now years later you are still the carrier of the offenses and future prevention and healing require a deeply serious commitment to by-directional forgiveness. This insures the possibility of future love and happiness.

That which God gave you freely is available to give. Romans 5:17 says, “much more…those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, will reign in life through Christ Jesus. Verse 21, “that grace might reign, through righteousness, to eternal life, through Christ Jesus.”

Your thinking is no longer skewed. God has rescued you. True, deep, rich, joy  is now yours. He will direct you to those who will help you be more in spirit and in truth as you minister to them and them also to you.

Remember, the prodigal chose to run home first, then he was restored.

“If we remain in His grip, how far from His heart can we be!”

Exit Strategy End Times: “Mercy, pressed in passion, poured into you!”

blowing shofar3

“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

Mercy, pressed in passion, poured into you!

Yesterday I spent hours writing a post that I did not post. I could not.

After too long since posting, the Lord told me to sit down and write. It was full of my heart regarding my current situation. It was 1000 words! Yes, it was too long. Maybe He just wanted me to get it out of my system. It was not a reaction. Instead it was a hope.

What I hoped for must be His doing. It remains a draft from my heart until He permits me to post, “In God’s will, out of God’s will, in God’s will?”

This morning in our (His and mine) prayer time I read in Romans 9:14-24 and this question came to mind.

Are we vessels of honor, are we common vessels or are we vessels of mercy prepared for glory?

In our troubles do we speak as Adam did to God, “this woman You gave me…” or in hopeless commonality as Paul wrote in verse 9:20, “who resists His will?” meaning I am what I am.

May neither be spoken dear Lord.

Let us first remember as Paul asks also in verse 9:20, “Oh man, who answers back to God?”

Let our silence honor and respect Him as we contemplate the Lord and His desire for us.

The vessel of honor may hold the fine wine. Surely the common vessel would not but in it the water was changed into the better wine. (John 2:1-10)

How much sweeter is the wine poured into a vessel of mercy! It became a vessel of mercy! The love of God within is the glorifying, appreciating reason we are then made precious.

How do you see yourself oh fellow vessel?

Be washed of past content. Be dried of tears finally.

Rest on the table of His plan for your life by faith. See what you did not see before.

Cherish the grapes of mercy, pressed in passion, poured into you as His chosen vessel.

Let Him lift you to drink. Let there be no stench from your previous content, not a whiff or trace. May honor cross His pallet from a vessel once tarnished but now clean and running over with mercy, the life giving mercy for which other vessels would long.

May a gentle smile be upon the Potters face as your content, something He also treasures, that which He also created at great expense, warms His heart and brings joy to Him as He works diligently on other vessels, lumps of clay as we all once were.

Remember, “If we remain in His grip, how far from His heart can we be!”

In the guardianship of Christ,

Michael

blowing shofar3“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

Die the divine death today!

Intercede, loved ones. You’ve heard it but are you dying to do it?

Pray for the person who cut you off in traffic, the family members who have hurt you, (those dead and alive), pray for the employer you serve, the fellow employees that look down upon you.

Pray for your ex-spouse. Forgive. Forgive, forgive!

Pray for those in the opposing political party and for the billions that believe differently than you.

Pray for and not curse all of these so that you will be blessed and not be cursed by the words of your own mouth. For what you sow you shall also reap.

May the love that is of God explode in your souls!

May the earth see the manifestation of the children of God.

I bless You my Lord and my God. Thank You Father. May I die a divine death daily and forever glorify You in Jesus name, in the name that means Salvation! My salvation!

Exit Strategy End Times: “The branches in Him He takes away.”

blowing shofar3“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

Somewhere out there is a teaching that says Christ did it all implying we have nothing to do except receive His grace; that after the crucifixion our reconciliation to God completes everything in us. In Christ we are set in stone.

This seems to imply that after His death, His teachings (His commandments) are no longer critical to our eternal life. We are good to go.

The writers of the New Testament, many times teach of our on going responsibilities in Christ. That is after the Resurrection we still have responsibilities. All is not set in stone.

1 John 3:3 (NKJV)
”And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure…. “

Jesus said, John 15:2 (NKJV)
”Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

Notice Jesus said, “Every branch IN ME…”

Surely you grasp what “in me” means.

So let us consider this a pruning message because we are in Him. We have a responsibility toward our Father for all He freely gave us through Jesus.

Let us consider this.

When does speaking truth become gossip?

When does criticism become an excuse for spreading an offense we have received?

Are bad expectations in our hearts able to poison us, a branch of a good fruit tree? (John 15:2 above) Will the poison effect other nearby trees?

Hebrews 12:15 (NASB)
”See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled; …”

If we are children of God then we have no liberty to speak of a failure or offense toward us. Our words only enlarge the scope of the offense into lives that do not need that burden. They have enough of their own! We have all done it but it must stop! Even angels did not cast accusations against Satan himself!

We can, in love, speak to the offender ourselves. Let us be sanctified, pursuing peace. Without a heart to do so, no one will see the Lord.

Hebrews 12:14 (NASB)
”Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.”

Jesus did not cry out, “My God, My God why did you let them do this to me?” He cast NO railing accusation as true as it might have been, toward us or toward the Father!

Jesus knew what we must know and apply in EVERY situation. In fact, forgive them Father, they know not what they do (now against a child of God as well as eternally against themselves.)

We, however, do know what to do through Jesus and the Father’s teachings and are therefore responsible.

We are all guilty but we have been freely given  a means of escape. Why? “We are covered,” you say! These wrong behaviors are forbidden in heaven as well as the kingdom of peace that is coming here upon the Lord’s return. If He does not rule and reign now, He will not rule and reign then.

Let us all train ourselves now and prepare, bearing the good fruit of love, purifying ourselves as He is pure.

“If we remain in His grip, how far from His heart can we be!”

Michael

Exit Strategy End Times: “Jesus said the sins once forgiven can return to our account! “

blowing shofar3

“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

As we approach Christmas most of us are grateful for the gift of reconciliation through Jesus Christ. So much has been forgiven from our past, we are different people now. Wonderful changes have become our new nature, or have they? Jesus said the sins once forgiven can return to our account! No….no way! Yes……The Way!

Paul speaks generously of the Colossians and includes a reason why.

Colossians 1:3-6 (NASB)
”We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4  since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints; 5  because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel 6  which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth;…”

We “understood the grace of God, in truth.” “it (the Gospel) is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also.”

My last post focused on the necessity of our bearing the fruit of righteousness; our “continuing in the kindness of God,” or else…”

Romans 11:22 (NASB77)
” Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.”

Whoa, Paul, cut off????  Yes believer, that is what he said. “Once saved always saved” is contradicted by this verse alone.

Let’s remember there is an Apostasy in the future. It is defined as the falling away of believers. Within certain current behavior that falling away takes place now if we are turning our back on God’s Way! Yes, by exiting the Lord’s Way, we put ourselves in jeopardy. Yes, upon our realization we can repent and we can be restored via repentance. But what if we fight it? What if we do not accept the conviction of the Holy Spirit? What if we never truly grasped just how much God did for us? What if we did? Do we revere God and so, His Word?

We speak the Lord’s prayer but do we grasp the heart of it? Do we forgive others so we can be forgiven? “I am forgiven!” Not until you forgive them. These are sins committed against you! They trap you into violating God’s instructions. BOGO! Both the offender and the offended are trapped by the Word. Only you the offended can set them free. If you choose not to, you become their judge, which is a presumptuous sin. (Psalms 19:13 NASB) Thinking you have that privilege will keep you out of heaven. There is only One Judge. Heaven will not tolerate two!

We then come to a condition Jesus described in the parable of the slave who was forgiven much. We know what happened. The slave received a massive portion of grace from the king but did not learn from it and failed to forgive a relatively small debt, mercilessly casting the debtor into prison. You can read it in Matthew 18:27-35.

The critical point I am making in this post is in 18:34.

Matthew 18:34 (NASB)
34  “And his lord, (the King)  moved with anger, [because he had not forgiven his fellow slave] handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him.”

Note: the original debt once forgiven was re-accounted by the King against the slave.

How many of us have never considered that?  Is it because we forgive everybody for anything? Do we really? Oh, our sins are in a sea of forgetfulness. God owns the sea and all that is in it! He owns us and watches over our progress, our learning to be as He would be toward others. Our doing to others as He did to or for us! He is eternity minded toward us, ready to grant grace to all who grant it or withhold grace from those who withhold. Why? Eternity demands a population of grace filled righteous souls for there to be peace!!!!

What’s more is in the next verse! Jesus speaking says,

Matthew 18:35 (NASB)
“My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.”

We have been taught if we sin in one thing we have sinned in all. Once forgiven via reconciliation, we have a responsibility to maintain our relationship with “the King.”

Forgiveness is the only topic where a restoration of your previous sin debt, the debt you could not pay, which was forgiven through the blood and sacrifice of Jesus, can be re-imposed against you BY THE HEAVENLY FATHER! What is His justification? You failed to bear the fruit of grace! You failed to give what was freely given to you. We reap what we sow. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Yes. This re-assignment of sins is a profound revelation. I have never heard it preached yet there it is in Jesus’ own words. The Words He gets from the Father!

Paul alludes to the stipulation of compliance.

Colossians 1:21-23 (NASB)
”And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds,
22  yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—
23  if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard,…”

I have been accused (lovingly) of being a “forgiveness only” preacher or teacher. I said recently, “Forgiveness isn’t everything, it is however the most important thing.”

Forgiveness from our heart shuts our mouth to other damaging sins and repercussions against our brothers, our fellow man, statements that will set the course of our lives! That course can be AWAY from heaven and eternal life. Matthew 12:34 (NASB) 34  “You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.”

I preach forgiveness by assignment. The rescue of believers from the Apostasy is what God has put on my heart. These brothers and sisters do not think they need rescuing!

I can teach on many things as my 170+ posts testify to. THIS teaching unheeded will be the downfall of many who limp along in spiritual immaturity, in their grasp of the Good News. Why is the Good News  good? WE ARE FORGIVEN AND MADE RIGHTEOUS, not just by the death of Christ but by His Words of eternal life! These Words are the keys we must grasp and implement in preparation for eternity.

We maintain our reconciliation to God by forgiving debts, sins against us personally. Just like the parable of the slave. We go to God for all other sins and in repentance Christ remains our covering.

This heart embraced understanding is the best gift you could give God for Christmas. It is a gift that will keep on giving, to others, as God continues to replenish grace in you! .

Isaiah 3:10 (NASB77)
”Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions.”

James 3:18 (NASB)
”And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

James 3:18 (NLT)
18  And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.”

You are loved. Pass this understanding along….please.

“If we remain in His grip, how far from His heart can we be!”

Exit Strategy End Times: “Do we receive Righteousness or the seeds of Righteousness? “

blowing shofar3

“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

Do we receive Righteousness or the seeds of Righteousness when we ask Jesus to be Lord of our lives?

We have heard it taught that it is the righteousness of Christ that saves us; that there is nothing we can do to earn that righteousness or that salvation or that reconciliation as Paul calls it in Romans 5:10 NASB. That is true. So how do we then maintain this free gift until we go or Jesus comes? Answer, the righteousness of Christ, His life, The Way, is how. Or didn’t you know you had too?

Are we responsible to bear fruit? Do we have a responsibility, in being bought with a price, forgiven totally, made righteous freely? Was Christ called the first born of many brethren? Are we not to be like Him?  How is this possible? Is it accomplished because He died for us? It only begins there and Paul knew.

Paul wrote Romans 5:10 (NASB77)
”For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, …” Yes we are reconciled to God, but what about after, as we live life? How do we stay “saved” or reconciled as Paul calls it? As Paul said, there is “much more” to understand.

Jesus died for our sins previously committed, before we met Him. (Romans 3:25) Why would He need die for sins not yet committed? Would they be committed? Sure they would. Is He there to help? Sure by the Holy Spirit! We are expected to rely on, to follow, the wisdom and instruction He taught and lived, in order to avoid sin and instead bear the peaceful fruit of righteousness! YES, THEN His righteousness becomes ours in life! He gets the glory!

Jesus died once and for all but not for all sin forever! He died for all those who would come to Him, forgiving their sins to date. Jesus did however teach us how to flee from sin in life, to avoid it, recognizing it, and to live righteously by grace toward our fellow man and to God righteously to eternal life! (Romans 5:21) In doing so, we die a divine death to His glory! He lives in us!

We can be dead to sin, if we learn how! We will sin but our remedy, the antidote for life’s sin, is in the teachings of Christ our “Lord?” THEN we maintain our free gift!

There is an expectation on God’s part that we, after reconciliation, as we live on, that we will bear the fruit of righteousness. He plants we bear! He is the vine we are the branches! Does any of this sound familiar?

We understand correctly that when we ask Jesus to be Lord, God forgives us, cleanses us of all unrighteousness,(1st John 1:9) we are regenerated and then renewed by the Holy Spirit.

Titus 3:5 (NASB)
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit…”

Regeneration : palingenesia, the state or the act of rebirth. Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. # 3824.

Ephesians 2:5 (NASB)
”…even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),…”

Renewing: (of or by the Holy Spirit) anakainōsis , from <G341> (anakainoo); renovation :- renewing. Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.# 342, #341.

Do we not know that renovation is a process? We buy the house, then we renovate it to renew it, making it like we want it, elevating its condition to our standards. This is our process via the teachings of Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Any Christian knows our maturing in Christ is a process. Our mind had to be renewed to new thinking. THIS is why Jesus came and spent time teaching us. Not just to die for us but to show us a new and living Way. (Hebrews 10:19-20 NASB) If there is a Way are we not to walk in it?

The kindness of God led us to repent and ask Jesus to be Lord by the Holy Spirit. Every mercy, forgiveness, cleansing, love, every aspect He freely gave, was a seed planted in the garden of our hearts with the absolute expectation that it would grow and multiply. It would be meaningful fruit for others to observe and receive freely when needed, from us to the glory of God and Christ Jesus, by the Holy Spirit!

James 3:18 (NASB77)
And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

All this sowing takes place in life after our initial reconciliation to God.

I wrote earlier but excluded, Paul said, in Romans 5:10 (NASB77)
”For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”

Christ’s death was critical to us. His life teachings and example actually save us; as in when we die or He returns. Until then we have a glorious Way to walk in. The question is, will we?

Romans 11:22 (NASB77)
” Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.”

Whoa, did Paul say that??? He knew. We must bear fruit and more as we mature, just as one would expect.

Proverbs 11:30 (NASB77)
”The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who is wise wins souls.”

We have a great hope and all the more as the time draws near for Christ’s return.

Isaiah 3:10 (NASB77)
”Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions.”

Do rightly , love mercy, walk humbly, and it will go well with you! Let grace reign! Romans 5:21, to eternal life!

Philippians 1:9-11 (NASB77)
”And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,
10  so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ;
11  having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

“We are to be “Gracefruit” trees. Never withdrawing our limb from the scraggly hand of need that reaches for the same fruit we needed.”

“If we remain in His grip, how far from His heart can we be!”

A guardian in Christ,

Michael
