Exit Strategy End Times: ” Emmaus, the road to unbelief.”

blowing shofar3

Oh the Joy of our salvation in Christ Jesus. Even as we would anticipate the future of our own new born and what his future might bring, let us do so with Christ, knowing what His future did bring!

  • As I began in prayer I asked where to read. The Spirit said, “Just open it.” (my bible)

I opened to Luke 23:28 – 24:53. I was not sure where to read. I was hopping around a little confused. Then verse 24:25-26, Jesus speaking, became my focus.

Luke 24:25-27 (NASB)
25  And He said to them, “O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
26  “Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?” 27  Then beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.

Jesus is on the road to Emmaus, walking with and speaking to disciples who are troubled over all that has occurred in Jerusalem. They were with those who heard the testimony of the women saying “He is not in the tomb, He is risen!” They know the men who went to the tomb to also find it empty.

“O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!”

Then there is what Jesus said.

Matthew 28:10 (KJV)
10  Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.”

Here these two disciples are on the road to Emmaus not Galilee! They are heading west not north toward the region of the Sea of Galilee. Is this unbelief? Yet Christ, in His mercy is about to rock their world.

Are we remembering the prophets and all they have told us? God was speaking to us as He did through Jesus. Our future is proclaimed in the past.

I asked the Lord, “How do You know the end from the beginning?” “In the beginning I speak it. My word always accomplishes that which it is sent forth to do.”

Shall we be foolish? Shall we be unbelieving? Is it Godlessness to be in unbelief? If so is it not mercy that God meets us on the road of unbelief in order to turn us around?

“Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?”

Why were they troubled? Unbelief! That’s how Jesus saw it.

So in our future has He not said and has He not prophesied our trials and tribulations? Is it not necessary for us to suffer these things and to enter into our glory, in Him?

Do not fear the suffering for it is your glory in Him! It is the “fellowship” of Christ’s sufferings.

We have rejoiced in His birth. Let us rejoice in the certain carnal death that was as certain for Him as it must be for us!

Let us begin with death to the old self and look to the certain reward of the new self in Him. Let us rise from the dead into newness of life in Spirit and Truth!

Jesus also learned from the Prophets and Moses. More and more He embraced the future by accepting the present and all that was meant to be in that which was foretold regarding His momentary plight before flight.

Oh the glory He has afforded us who will arise and awaken to everlasting righteousness; we who will do so because we had insight by the Holy Spirit, because we saw through the Lord’s own experience to our own. Amen and amen!

The road to Emmaus was a road to unbelief. Those same disciples got up the same hour (after Jesus vanished before their eyes) and returned to Jerusalem to tell of the Lord’s resurrection. They returned to a path of belief encouraging the others. So be it for us.

Christians around the world must become followers, seeing the prophecies for the insight they are meant to provide.

Please … forward this post or my other posts anywhere in the world you can.

Exit Strategy End Times: ” Let My Son go that he may serve Me.”

blowing shofar3

To everyone around the world and especially for our Jewish brothers and sisters I deliver this gift from the Lord. I have NEVER heard this understanding preached anywhere.

12-14-15   Before I asked where to read, I opened my bible to Exodus 4 where I found the notes about “…In Christ God got both a sacrifice to end one season and obedience to begin another.”

As I read Exodus 4, I came to verse 22. Exodus 4:22 (NASB)
22  “Then you (Moses) shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the LORD, “Israel is My son, My firstborn.” (added for clarity)

From the movie 10 Commandments, “Let my people go,” is our typical understanding of what Moses said to Pharaoh. Obviously Moses says this to Pharaoh. Why he changes it from God’s instructions we do not know. The scripture says more and goes further.

Let us look at what God sees in the people of captivity. Within Israel is His first born His Son!  THIS is God’s priority, His first and foremost priority, His Son, to be born of God and to serve His Father God.

Exodus 4:23 (NASB)
23  “So I said to you, (Pharaoh) ‘Let My son go that he may serve Me’; but you have refused to let him go. Behold, I will kill your son, your firstborn.”‘” (added for clarity)

We know from the Passover story that this is exactly what God did to Pharaoh to provoke the release of Israel. God killed the firstborn of any who did not put lamb’s blood over the lentils and on the door posts.

God sees ahead just as He was able to say the Messiah would be of the linage of David.

God can see into a people and see His plan being fulfilled or hindered.

God sought to kill Moses! Exodus 4:24 (NASB)

“Now it came about at the lodging place on the way that the LORD met him (Moses) and sought to put him to death.” (added for clarity)

Moses wife rescued Moses in a prophetic Way. Exodus 4:25 (NASB)
”Then Zipporah took a flint and cut off her son’s foreskin and threw it at Moses’ feet, and she said, “You are indeed a bridegroom of blood to me.” This was amazing in its implication!

Who else do we know as a Bridegroom of blood? Is there anyone else but Jesus?

Who do we know as the “firstborn of many brethren? There is no other but Jesus!

Does Zipporah remember the Abrahamic Covenant? Did this save Moses?

Genesis 17:11 (NKJV)
”…and you (Abraham and his people) shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you.” (added for clarity)

Exodus 4:26 (NASB)
So He let him (Moses) alone. At that time she said, “You are a bridegroom of blood”—because of the circumcision.” Not only does God change His mind about killing Moses. Zipporah says a second time, it appears in a statement of confirmation, “You are a bridegroom of blood”—because of the circumcision.” The Abrahamic Covenant lives on with Moses.

If Moses is the bridegroom of blood, Zipporah is the bride of the bridegroom!

Moses is a savior of the people of Israel, a type of Messiah or Christ, but Moses was really saving the Son of God, the Firstborn of God, who was in the loins of His ancestors in captivity.

God’s ultimate plan would not be lost on account of their captivity. His name means salvation! For His name’s sake He will rescue Israel, but more importantly He will do so for the sake of His “first born Son.” He (Jesus) will be released to serve God the Father, verse 23, by later on doing “Not My will but Thine.”

Why the world has not seen God’s real reason for delivering Israel out of Egypt until now I do not know. It is right there in clear text. The literal translations agree. I can only conclude that this is another “truth” we are being guided to by the Spirit of God because the Father’s plan is unfolding and time is of the essence. I would welcome a correction by a Rabbi if I am wrong. It would require a reference from the Torah and the Exodus account.

The Father is willing to bring people to their knees if it means accomplishing His own will. Our best chance at survival in a relationship with God is through obedience. God was willing to kill Moses! Remembering His covenant took not only a reminder in Moses case but action that demonstrated an understanding of the covenant.

The New Covenant has laws, like Romans 8:2 and John 3:36.

Romans 8:2 (NASB)
2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.” HAS this law set us free? IS the law of the Spirit of Life operating in us?

John 3:36 (NASB)
36  “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

In our obedience to the commandments of Christ, that first-born Son lives in us. As we seek to obey Him daily we are already living eternally.

John 14:15 (NASB)
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”

To everyone but especially our dear Jewish brothers and sisters, Jesus IS the Messiah, the First-born of many brethren. You were led out of captivity for His sake. Give thanks. He has come. He patiently waits your turning to Him. He is coming to win the battle you thought He was supposed to win when He first came 2000+ years ago.

You will not be disappointed!

Please … forward this post or my others.

Exit Strategy End Times: ” Especially if it is from you!”

blowing shofar3

Opening my bible in the AM on 12-14-15, preparing for my meeting with God in prayer I found a program from a church service in North Carolina. On it I wrote, “God desires not a sacrifice but desires obedience. In Christ God got both a sacrifice to end a season and obedience to begin another.”

As a side note please read Romans 7:1-6 This speaks to one husband (first covenant ) who must die  so the woman (God’s people) may marry the second husband or the new covenant in Christ Jesus. “Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another–to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.“

Referring back to the main point of my “program” note,

“The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to Him shall be the obedience of the peoples. Genesis 49:10 (NASB)

“Shiloh,” taken from <H7951> (shalah); tranquil; Shiloh, an epithet of the Messiah :-

“Obedience,” from the same as <H3348> (Yaqeh); obedience :- gathering, to obey.

(Both examples are taken from Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.)

“And to Him shall be the obedience of the peoples.”

After these things I asked the Lord where to read, as I always do. “Leviticus 2” was His response. The law of grain offerings? I read it, questioning. “There are Laws,” was the Spirit’s response to me. Then these thoughts came to me, “Now they are laws of obedience where you make the sacrifice of obedience. You bring the offering of obedience. Nothing substantive is asked of you because you have been given ‘all things pertaining to life and Godliness.’ (2 Peter 1:3) Obedience to the workings of these things is your responsibility, your reward is within. Your reward will not be found elsewhere.” (I then remembered,  ‘…but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.’” John 3:36 NASB) I also remembered, if the Law of the Spirit of Life is operating in us, the Law of Sin and Death no longer has power over us. (Romans 8:2)

Has the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus set you free? It is not automatic. Are you troubled in your soul over personal struggles or over world conditions and situations? You must obey the operating principles of the kingdom as defined by the Laws of the Spirit of Life, as defined by the teachings and example of Jesus, if you expect to find real freedom in your heart and in life. Only you and God know if you are. Do not be held captive by personal or worldly problems! The Way is made known, walk in it!

To what extent are we walking according to the Spirit (of Life), benefiting from a walk of obedience?  Not so much? There is grace! The blessing of grace is that an abundance of grace is available to bring the gift of righteousness to us in our walk, for those who receive it. (Romans 5:17) Remember also we must grant grace to receive grace. (Matthew 6:14) Let us also remember Romans 5:17: “ … so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” We must joyfully find ourselves as compelled to do right as we found ourselves compelled to sin!

Give the gift of miraculous grace this Christmas, to yourself first (those who receive will reign in life Romans 5:17) and to anyone else who for any reason need it, especially if it is from you. You benefit first. They will benefit from God dealing with them, just as He is now dealing with you.

You are dearly loved! Merry Christmas to all, around the world.

Please … gift this post or another post, to someone who might benefit.

Exit Strategy End Times: “Until there was no remedy.”

blowing shofar3

In my last post “Is this not enough,” I noted that the Spirit of God said to me, (about Janis) “I want her with Me.” Telling me in advance has relieved and resolved those questions that one does ask. “Could I have done more, could I have been better so my prayers for her healing would have been answered? What about the thousands of prayers from the far points of the earth? Did I hinder them? No I did not. God is bigger than that in every way.

That last morning before her passing, after the Lord said “I want her with Me,” He also said, “I cannot trust you with her.” What Lord?

For the next 40 days I struggled with that thought. I would have given my life so she could live. After the funeral and as I said, days later, I was still struggling with this. Then one morning the Spirit said to me, “You have it wrong. You can not do what you are called to do while caring for Janis. You will put her first, as you have. I cannot trust you with her, …there.” I believe He was also saying “I can trust you … with her here.”

And so, by encouragement from Him, I am posting the distressing things I am called to post. All the Father cares about is that we are prepared via His Spirit of love, knowledge, wisdom, counsel, strength, understanding, and reverence. His Spirit leads us into all truth. This life is our chance to be “free” and prepared in heart and soul. We must be.

12-10-15

I asked the Holy Spirit where to read and heard no answer. I opened randomly to 2 Chronicles 36:16 (KJV)
16 But they mocked the messengers of God, (I am not purposely referring to myself here) and despised His words, and misused His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.”

The Lord warns us in His righteousness. Passover is a good example. Those who listened were protected. He warns us to uphold His name. His name means salvation not judgment. Jesus’ name means the same basically. The nations shall desire the cup of His salvation or drink from the cup of His wrath. We see this fact many times in the bible.

If we are no longer a Christian nation, our friends will become our enemies for even our God will become our enemy, having warned us in His righteousness for the sake of His name “Salvation.” Only in repentance comes restoration and re-direction toward heaven.

Are we as a nation beyond remedy? Will America forsake abortion, declare itself surrendered to God and Christ, cast down gay “rights”, purge pornography from the internet, condemn murderous religions as not religions at all, demand and elect Godly Christian men to lead, return to God in His inspired interpretations of the Constitution, will working for a living be honored over welfare to those who can work but do not? Will we forsake a UN global mentality that has left the rest of the world in a shambles? Is this an insurmountable list of national abominations? If yes, we must prepare for such a time as this to endure to the end, in a Way only God would ask. In the Way He did.

Political correctness has replaced biblical correctness. We have been morphed into another identity. The trust other nations had in us was based on the righteousness we stood for. Now, in effect, we stand for unrighteousness. We have been warned before about this. Reverend Peter Marshall, chaplain of the Congress, on April 18th 1947, put it this way, “Lord…Give to us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for—because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.

Remember Ezekiel 17 and the two eagles. I believe the first is America as founded. The second eagle is America as it has become, the vine looking to the eagle (government) for sustenance. Have we not come to this? It goes on to say in verses 9-10, (NASB)
9  …And neither by great strength nor by many people can it be raised from its roots again. 10  “Behold, though it is planted, will it thrive? Will it not completely wither as soon as the east wind strikes it…?”‘”

Our nation is defined by its majority thought and vote. If a majority have already fallen for the path of unrighteousness, then only a personal commitment to God and a non-judgmental spirit will save each of us. Endure in your love toward the lost by prayer and intercession. By this you guard your own heart.

Enjoy this Christmas honoring Him like never before. Ask, seek and knock, for Him to show you ANYTHING that needs to go in your life. Rejoice, He is faithful to help. His name IS “Salvation” not judgment. Only you can destroy yourself. He, in love, is trying to help us avoid that.

Please … forward this post around the world.

12-11-15

Tomorrow is the first anniversary of my Janis’ passing, at 7:30 AM. Today (one year ago) at about 3:30 PM, was the last time she said my name,…It’s me honey, Michael…”Miiichael” I will never forget that moment. You might imagine how many times I have heard her voice over the last year. I look so forward to the next time I will hear her say it.

I loved her so Lord. I still do and will always. Thank You Lord.

“I want her with Me.” He said. She is.

“I will praise you forever Lord for your kindness to both of us, that you allowed us to have each other and You healed each of us with a love that covered, delivered, enlightened, encouraged, endeared, and led us to do the same to others. It was “salvation” to us. It still is.”

My sincerest thanks to all of you, who have loved and cared for me, this year. I have received the reward of Janis’ love toward you. I can imagine God telling her of your concern and compassion toward me. Thank you, I love you all.

This morning, after the moments and emotions of the above, I opened the Word randomly to 2 Chronicles chapters 27-28.

28 is about Ahaz. I wrote about his unbelief and Isaiah’s prophecy about the virgin giving birth in a recent post.

“So Lord, Uzziah is in chapter 27?” I read about Uzziah. Pride was his problem. He even contracted leprosy in his prideful actions. Of course I asked, still wrestling with my emotions over Janis because I have still wondered if I could have done more to help her. “Is this me Lord? Have I sinned against You Lord, like Uzziah? Please show me Lord.”

The Holy Spirit has been pointing me to areas of verse where similar situations prompted God to react, situations we see in our nation today. With these two men Uzziah and Ahaz, we see pride and unbelief. God tried to reach both men. I was not sure what to think. I asked the Holy Spirit this time, “Lord where would You have me read?” His response was… “Is this not enough?”

Please … forward this post Share it on Facebook. Order the book. Find a missionary to send it to. Read the other posts (some 80 of them) We must prepare. Tomorrow’s post, “Until there was no remedy.”

Exit Strategy End Times: ” Stand and deliver or It’s go time!”

blowing shofar3

Yesterday I asked and the Spirit directed me to Habakkuk 3 again. I was drawn to verses 16-19. Read it please.

This morning as I began prayer, I opened to Proverbs 1: 20-33. Read it please.

Habakkuk ends with a “no matter what happens” conclusion. We must grasp the same and cling to it with all of our grace given ability.

Proverbs is Wisdom speaking and the ramifications of neglecting the knowledge, counsel and reproof she offers. She also speaks of where our security lies.

I then remembered the prophecy of John the Baptist and Jesus. Malachi 3:1 and Isaiah 40:3.

Malachi 3:1-2 (NASB)
1  “Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the LORD of hosts.
2  “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap.

Jesus has come and yet He is coming again. Will we endure the day of His coming? It is a day referred to as “dreadful” by Malachi in 4:5. Before hand, speaking of the prophet Elijah or someone coming in the same spirit as Elijah, “And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

For this reconciliation to take place, grace, mercy, forgiveness, understanding and love must be administered. It will happen as the result of our receiving the reproof of wisdom. This wisdom is embodied in the Words of Christ, His admonitions meant for us by the grace of our Father in heaven. It is a preparatory process to cleanse us before the great and terrible or dreadful day of the Lord.

The unacceptable in our lives must be cleansed before He comes so that “… He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:27 (NASB)

In preparation for our Christmas performance the choir director said, “Ok choir it is go time!” She meant we have had our chance to prepare and practice, it is now time to focus, to get serious. The time of our expected presentation is at hand. We must already know our parts and be ready to “stand and deliver” to His glory!

Please … forward this post.

Exit Strategy End Times: ” The Goal Post.”

blowing shofar3

I believe these messages of unique preparation in these postings are inspired and purposeful in the preparation of the church for perilous times. They are meant for all (especially myself) from the newest babe in Christ to the most elder of elders.

My goal with this post is to see readership in all countries of the earth. Believers are everywhere. The message of “enduring love” from Matthew 24:14 “shall be preached” according to Jesus. That message of enduring love, a “saving” message describing the good news of kingdom existence, being applicable now and the necessary antidote in so many demanding situations, will only be “preached to all nations,” as we share it beginning with one to one then many to many.

I find myself rejoicing and grieving at the same time. Where we are being read, I am happy and believing the Holy Spirit will expand upon this humble effort as only He can. In nations where the message is yet to be read and understood, souls are in jeopardy. The Apostasy will occur before Christ returns!

Every church must seek the same heart for themselves that set Jesus free of the “sin”He had become (over our sins and especially our sins against Him that day) and made eternal life possible for Him first then for us. His love endured toward us to His apparent end. Our end may be apparent also. Gloriously that was not His end and that is why our goal is to be like Him. Everlasting life required something even from Jesus! Enduring love is everlasting resurrection life.

My goal is to have readership in every nation by the end of this year. If you know someone in a nation NOT listed, please… please forward to them a link to one of the posts you liked. Go to that post, copy the address from the top window and paste it in an email to your friend or post the link on Facebook. If you will, please hit the comment button on this post and say this,

“Nancy USA to Heidi  Norway, or Charles in Germany to Akmed in Pakistan.”

USA, Brazil, Belgium, United Kingdom, Canada, India, Belize, Russia, Australia, Italy, Egypt, France, Mexico, Philippines, Israel, Czech Republic, European Union, Argentina, Colombia, Romania, Switzerland, New Zealand, Peru, Aruba, Malaysia, South Africa, Norway, Portugal, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Taiwan, Austria, Singapore, Nigeria.

Thank you Lord for so many nations already.

Matthew 24:12-14 (Young’s Literal Translation)
12  and because of the abounding of the lawlessness, the love of the many shall become cold; 13  but he who did endure to the end, he shall be saved; 14  and this good news of the reign shall be proclaimed in all the world, for a testimony to all the nations; and then shall the end arrive.

These Words of the Father, through Jesus, are a prophecy yet to be full filled. The book title reflects how we will initiate the return of Christ. Preaching “this” good news to all nations will, as Jesus said to John the Baptist at the waters edge, “fulfill all righteousness.” Jesus and John were fulfilling prophecy. How can we not when we can?

Please … forward this post or other posts. God’s patience is drawing to an end as evidenced by the arrival of the twilight, the dusk of coming darkness.

Exit Strategy End Times: “I have spoken over myself. .”

It is unusual to post twice let alone within 15 minutes of doing so. Please bear with me. I am determined to achieve my 600 word limit with each post. This is less than 300.

In prayer this morning I cried grievously. It was not over souls but over my attachment to memories and the memorabilia that represent love and good times. All these things represent good to us. God knows this. Jesus was challenged by these same kind of things. There was good He had to deal with. Peter is a good example.

Maintaining these things can be a great distraction from our eternal goal and eternal perspective. Eternal is the only perspective that will guide and influence our course on earth toward our final destination and the narrow gate of heaven.

I am praying for you. Please pray for me. I am the tool of He who was rejected and yet loved beyond our knowledge, wisdom, counsel, strength, and understanding. By His Spirit and in His spirit of reverence, He chose Father God’s will be done, “on earth as it is in heaven.”

Since my beginnings in this walk, I have spoken over myself, “ Thank You Lord that I have the spirit of knowledge, wisdom, strength, counsel, understanding, the Spirit of the Lord and the spirit of reverence. Be glorified in the good things and be merciful in the errors as You repair my impaired judgment.

I encourage you around the world to do the same. We all need it.

Exit Strategy End Times: ” Awake to the twilight of God’s seeking.”

blowing shofar3

This morning I was again concerned about this house and the question of selling it after all I have done to make it home. This includes years of memorabilia that I continue to look back upon with great thankfulness and the clear recognition that God has been in my life so faithfully.

Selling the house now was a question of obedience in my mind. The Spirit said, “I am not concerned about the house. I’m concerned about My house.” I knew this means about His people. “Blow the trumpet!”

In choir practice last night I wanted to say, “Sing this as though it were your last Christmas (presentation).

Might it be? There will be a day when “Christmas” as we know it will change. Maybe not in our hearts, in our reverence for His humble beginning and His valiant assignment but in and because of the darkness that is covering the earth.

The less “lights” I see in my twilight walks through my neighborhood, the more unimaginable and contradictory I see the world getting, relative to God, I believe the dusk or twilight has reached us.

It comes to me now, “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.” Genesis 3:8 (KJV)

Day means it was late evening before sunset. Was it dusk, or twilight? God was looking for (so to speak) Adam. Adam and Eve were hiding themselves. We know they had covered themselves with leaves.

Are we at this same point? Are we at the dusk of this age? Is this world covering its condition with the “leaves” of denial? Is the world hiding itself by subjecting God to its definitions or imaginations about His authority, His very existence? Is this the same exit Adam and Eve took once they were under the influence of the “knowledge of good and evil?”

Does the world find itself still in that place, lacking the guidance of the wisdom, knowledge, counsel, strength and understanding; without the Spirit of the Lord (which I believe is love and further, enduring love.) Lastly, where is the spirit of reverence? (Isaiah 11: 1-2 NASB)

Yes the world and Christians on some levels are in that place of lack still. That which Jesus brought, to “repair” our impaired judgment, (the Seven Pillars) is yet to be embraced on a level that is effective for many. Awake, awake oh sleeper!

Daniel 12:2-4 (NASB)
“Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground (Matthew Henry and I say it is the dust of this life’s entanglements) will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt. 3  “Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. 4  “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time….”

Daniel 12:1 (NASB)
”…And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.”

They will be rescued by the very trouble they see as it prompts them to seek God on a level they have never known with the help of those who have insight. Will that be you friend, you pastor?

Awake! Gain insight! Lead others to the righteousness they need but think they already have.

Please … forward this post or my others. We must prepare. The distressing fact is, night is coming. Darkness must precede the Dawn!

Exit Strategy End Times: “Are we living up to our name? “

blowing shofar3

As I shared in the post “What does it mean?” in my morning meetings in prayer under my Tallit, the Holy Spirit has been directing me to what I would consider obscure places (to me) in the bible by giving me an address (book and chapter) or a name, which I promptly look up.

These journeys have been very revealing to me as you read in that post.

By “What does it mean? I was saying it means Holy Spirit is doing the Father’s bidding in trying to reach us by examples in the Word that demonstrate His (never changing) position on certain things. As you remember from that post, the Esau’s of this world will no longer exist. The God, who IS love, hated Esau? Esau’s heritage meant little or nothing. Esau swore it away. Jacob did not steal the birthright, he repossessed what was his by his brothers own mouth. To me, this is a message that applies to any Christian clinging to a hurt or offense, wanting it more than wanting to obey God’s saving commands through Jesus to forgive from the heart.

In the same post, Ahaz, “he has grasped,” did not grasp at all! Ahaz disregarded Isaiah’s appeal to him by the Holy Spirit, to ask for a fleece. This was so Ahaz would know for sure the God of his father was there to support and deliver him out of the hands of his enemy. Ahaz chose worldly help instead of God’s help. Isaiah by the Holy Spirit declares a fleece in spite of Ahaz and out comes the prophecy of a virgin giving birth,…the prophecy of Jesus. What does this mean now?

Republicans in America are about to choose a candidate for president. Then the nation will choose. The Democrats have already chosen. What is God saying to us and to the world? “I am trying to remind you of your birthright and my support against your enemies.” How is He doing this? He has done so by pointing to a previous example in His Word (Ahaz) and to top it off, an example that includes the very season we are about to celebrate, Christmas, and the prophesied birth of Jesus.

Ahaz did not “grasp.” He did not live up to his name or heritage. Will we?

You may not know what your personal name means. What about the name you have taken as your covering, your salvation? “Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord your God in vain…” The Lord’s name means salvation. It might as well say, thou shalt not take the salvation of the Lord in vain. Moreover, if we have taken His name then we too are to be a source of salvation projecting His wisdom, knowledge, counsel, strength, understanding, His Spirit, and reverence toward Him, toward others. Remember the Seven Pillars and the Seven Eyes in my last post?

Like a child, our Father teaches us His standards. We are expected to embrace them. He disciplines us (lovingly) until we embrace them. His name (salvation) is complimented or discredited by our projecting His Ways or not. We can live up to our new name. His grace is sufficient for us.

Please … forward this post and others. God has paused briefly for our preparation.
