Exit Strategy End Times: “Trump your fears with faith!”

“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

Trump your fears with faith.

Yesterday I spoke with my sister about the two eagles of Ezekiel 17 1-10, as being America as she once was and as she now is. If ever America is portrayed in scripture I believe it is here.

According to God, this understanding was to be a riddle, spoken as a parable, by Ezekiel. (See vs 1-2)

As you read it you too might see America as founded in verses 2-6 and America as she has become in verses 7-10.

Is America now under attack of the “east wind?”

After reading Ezekiel 17:1-10, and remembering John 15:5 “I am the vine you are the branches, … apart from Me you can do nothing.” see if you see what I see.

Now I ask you, “Are our roots and branches now turned up toward the second eagle in a national reliance on our government? Has our government not led us away from God, away from our foundational roots as a nation? Verse 9 says by question, “will it thrive? Will he (the second eagle) not pull up its roots (Christian foundations of the vine) and cut off its fruit so that it withers…? (We as a nation can not bear fruit without Jesus, the root of our vine. Have we, Christians representing Jesus, turned our roots toward a false mother, seeking nourishment? Will we not wither as she withholds with disgust what was never ever to be our sustenance?)

“And neither by great strength nor by many people can it be raised from its roots again.” “Will it not completely wither as soon as the east wind strikes it – wither on the beds where it grew?” (Vs 9-10)

If this is America and I believe it is, such a gloomy end can be a hazard to one’s faith and more so if one is not yet a follower of Christ, only a believer in Christ.

A cautioning thought came to me a while back. “If it is all about here, it can never be about heaven.”

Dear heavenly Father, allow us to focus on You and the eternal life You desire for us. You have provided the keys to Your kingdom of heaven. There IS a kingdom as surely as there are keys!

(Lord) By the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness we reign in this life (Romans 5:17) By Your grace may we grasp our existence in eternity as being like You, full of grace and righteousness and that it is to be learned here in preparation for there!

(Lord) Restore in us the understanding required so that we may see Your prophecies as true warnings to be guided by, as surely as an accurate compass.

(Lord) Our map to eternity must include the hazards as well as our destination. Neither can be omitted. The hazards also mark our journey’s progress. The hazards must be considered fearlessly lest we shipwreck on the shoals outside the harbor, sinking short of our eternal destination.

(Lord) Let us not turn away from the discouragements, losing courage or faith. These hazardous markers are to be signs of our progress as we sail on with confidence in our faithful God and Your eternal destination for us.

(Lord) You have told us of these hazards in advance. In Your love for Your followers You have shown the Light of truth on our path, about the hazards as well as the good destination, that we might not stumble and that if we do stumble we can rise up as the righteous man does, his confidence being in the grace and righteousness of his loving, faithful, heavenly Father. Amen.

Exit Strategy End Times: “What should my reaction be?”

What should your reaction be?

This post is from February 9th 2015.  Many have lost a loved one and this time of year this season of joy is often diminished by the loss of our loved one.

This post looks at an other point of view. For me, in the midst of my loss, the clarity enhanced my relationship with God deeply and my chances of ever seeing Janis again. Someday you might lose a precious one. Maybe you want to read this.

In Matthew 24:3-23, Jesus speaks of the trials followers can expect to go through. These are frightening things, threatening things, deceiving things. He says we will be hated by all nations because of Him. In fact it is His love, His Way of loving, that we are to maintain, enduring to be saved.

In verse Matthew 24:10 it says, “And at that time many will fall away…” (to fall away you must have believed at some point, Paul says “reconciled” in Romans 5:10. We say “saved” Look it up.)
In verse 24: 12-13 it says, “And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved.”

If love growing cold is a lethal problem for us, saving enduring love must be our goal. Only we can prepare ourselves to (lovingly) endure. Paul spoke “I press on toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14)

An effort must be made on our part. God is calling to us through Christ Jesus. Paul’s understanding certainly did not consider it works. He saw himself as responding, obeying and in obeying he “pressed on.”

After years and thousands of people around the world praying faithfully for the healing of my Godly wife Janis, God says to me, “I want her with me.” Within hours, she departed. What about all those prayers, those promises? What should my reaction be? Maybe He wanted to see? Not so He would know but so I would know!

We shudder as we ask ourselves if we can endure the terrible forecasts of Christ? We have trouble enduring the evening news without a curse if not from our lips, it may be hidden in our hearts! Woe, woe, woe unto us. Lord please help us.

I know God did not kill my Janis. Still in a meaningful comparison, God did to me,…..exactly what our persecutors might have done, He took the love of my life away from me. What should my reaction be?

Everything we are seeing in life that provokes us to anger or unforgiveness can be used in the plot of the enemy to capture us.

By provoking us WE violate the Word of God, we defeat ourselves. What Word? Probably several scriptures but one in particular.“For if you forgive men for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.” Matthew 6:14 NASB

Is it possible this Word set Jesus free of our sins before He actually died and will it set us free also before we actually die? What should my reaction be?

My reaction toward my persecutors must reflect my reaction toward God over the loss of my sweetheart. “Thy will be done Lord.” I knew, about Janis, what I would have needed to know had we fallen prey to some persecutors of our faith. “Oh death where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” God’s protective desire, His living will rests within this truth.

How could I be angry with God who gave Janis to me to begin with? I have thanked Him in sobbing tears for His receiving her into His care. I have thanked Him over and over for a love that was beyond my imagination, tearfully missing her. But that is God!

So what should my (our) reaction be to a persecutor? Have I trained myself or am I training myself to accept God’s will in that case? Will I be light to him? By God’s grace in that case, I will see Janis again and be with her forever.

A persecutor will go to hell forever unless he sees the light. How can I endure losing my sweetheart to God in total acceptance of His will and not obey His will that I intercede for those who might kill me?

Do I know what Jesus knew? Am I convinced that they cannot really kill me, in the same way that Christ and Janis still live in eternity?

God desires that none should perish. He means eternally! We must desire that none shall perish eternally! Christ desired that we not perish eternally. He forgave us and interceded for us! They have no chance unless they see the light, our light, even as we perish, if God wills.

What will my reaction be? It would be good for me to know ahead of time. Way ahead of time. Lord help us all.

Exit Strategy End Times: “Soviet Intelligence and Trump.”

The Soviet Intelligence and Trump?

I have already posted the common anti-globalist position of Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin. Both are patriotic and committed to preserving or in the case of the USA restoring a national commitment to our founding fathers intention and vision.

We look at the aggression of Russia (Putin) toward areas on her geographic periphery and guess why? We are declaring evil, when globalism as we have seen in the USA, has every intention of collapsing economic, moral and governmental systems to gain control, including in Russia. Could it be that gaining control of minerals, having a say in the middle east, and generally hedging her economic bets against globalism is most important to Mr. Putin versus what everybody thinks? Economic collapse in an integral aspect to success in the march of globalism! We have seen its ruthless efforts here in the USA.

We know from his speeches that Mr. Putin sees the USA as the evil globalist juggernaut. We know that he has every right to because this was the agenda of SS Clinton and her predecessor Mr. Obama. Both he and she are pawns in the global agenda and more will follow. Wealth and prestige are theirs. Both Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton have in fact each become very wealthy, while serving the agenda. Accounting for this has been set aside because they have seen to it.

Whatever Mr. Putin said or did to influence the election, if he did anything, you can bet it was with foresight against globalism. Also, do we not consider the intelligence capabilities of Russia to be significant? Is it possible that they know much about Hillary that we do not? Do they know her real agenda as a pawn of enemies to our patriotic beliefs, both here and in Russia? Are these beliefs not masked in her speeches by bywords familiar to progressive communicators?

And why wouldn’t the enemies of our nation’s individuality go after the biggest guy first, the USA? Look at Russia, Israel and the USA. All 3 would resist the globalist agenda and after the recent election are openly resisting. All 3 have fairly historic commitments to God and or Jesus the Christ. The globalists cannot move forward without crippling or outright defeating these three countries via social, economic or political turmoil.We are seeing them all in the USA and the Russians see it here also. Instability reigns in the USA until now!

How can they have a one world government when one or two or three counties will not play ball? Defeat the USA and you can go after Israel easily albeit catastrophically. Russia, once fortified with middle east territories, will fight globalism to the end as long as Putin is in power or a long as a so-called workable arrangement can be agreed to. The “agenda” will consider this temporary no matter what Mr. Putin thinks. This agreement may be entered into as an alliance against Israel. Leaving her last and biblically creating the final scenario.

As a follower of Christ Jesus I believe, via the election, we have been given a reprieve from the onslaught of globalism. We have not defeated it! There is only One who will do that.

What will we do with this tenuous at best global political hiatus? Is the Word of God not true? Will evil not have its hour at some point in time? Will the return of Jesus the Messiah not be a rescue mission? What must we be doing? Dare we bask in the relief of this moment? What is our exit strategy to be? Exit strategy? Is there one? Oh yes.

Did you know that Russia was a Christian nation hundreds of years ahead of us? I have studied this, my (wife) Janis and I taught in Russia in a bible college, we have seen and lived around the people of Russia for weeks at a time over four different years. They are a proud people living in humble circumstances for the most part. Their history is that of struggle but their commitment to protecting their faith is paramount. Globalism will replace that religion with something else both there and here if the pawns have their way. The Russians have been resisting this attack all along. We have only just resisted in the recent election! How have we been so blind until now? Or were we deceived and after eight years of observations we took advantage of our chance to rectify our situation?

Only now might Mr. Putin see some relief in the election of Mr. Trump, one he could walk along side of in peace, seeing Mr. Trump’s strength as a type of guard rail but also finding some agreement once the globalist threat has been set aside? Having a worthy peer has often led to peace out of respect.

Many in the establishment leadership of the USA are very concerned about Russia and always have been. I respect their experience and yet I call them to ask why Russia has felt threatened by us all these years? Look at their individual leaders as well as ours. Look at their respective agendas. Look at the history of each. What was the fruit of their leadership across the globe? What peace did they bring or not? Both Russian and American leaders have influenced our world. Their motives and agenda’s mean everything. This is why it is important now to have some if not much significant agreement in matters that are a comfort, for as long as we can. Nobody is drinking the cool-aid. We are all drinking Coca-cola, if you catch my drift.

There is a day coming when darkness will rule and no man can work (spiritually) even when he wants to. I do not believe it will be because of Mr. Putin or Mr. Trump although they are playing their part in God’s agenda. Let us not hasten it either. Let us pray for the people of Russia and all nations. They are not our enemies. Agenda’s against God are our enemies. We must resist these personally first, applying the love we have been freely given, then apply love as nations who call ourselves Christians. We will all be far more trustworthy in the eyes of our neighbors.
