On 2-27-16 I asked. “Genesis 6:5” God knows, I did not know what was there.
”Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5 (NASB) 

My prayer, “Oh God, is not the ministry of righteousness more glorious than the ministry of condemnation? Yes Lord, both bring You glory because You will judge one day while You bless your own today.”

Today: My bible is already open to this verse.

”…for to this end also I wrote, so that I might put you to the test, whether you are obedient in all things. ¹⁰ But one whom you forgive anything, I forgive also; for indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ, ¹¹  so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.”  2 Corinthians 2:9-11 (NASB)

In light of the news, “Lord?” Are You trumping us all via Trump?

Is he not a carnal response to our national anger? Is he a continuation of our slide as a nation away from You?

Is his sometimes crass and blatant honesty a level of truth You can use? Recognizing the truth is important to You.

Are we bringing upon ourselves as a nation a greater on-going judgment, adding to the judgment we as a nation have already brought upon ourselves? Are our streets not awash in the blood of innocent children? Is Trump not known as disrespectful of women? Is he a judgment against women who have chosen godless political positions? Does he provoke them to make choices that add to their guilt by choosing a party that promotes the slaughter of unborn children? And Lord what is “common sense conservativism?” if it supports abortion or its proponents on any level?

Are we crying out for a king like Israel did as You and Godly choices are again pushed to the sidelines?

Are You bringing our behavior as a nation down upon our heads?

Don’t we know it may look good for a while but “darkness” must rise up? Might “Peace, peace,” be the result of all this?

We are all being challenged by the times we are in. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…” His Way, His Truth, lead to His Life.

“If we remain in His grip, how far from His heart can we be!”
