Exit Strategy End Times: “Are we the Accusers of the Brethren?”

blowing shofar3“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

Are we the Accusers of the Brethren?

How could it be Lord, that we are accusers of the brethren?

What happens to us today that we would take upon ourselves the heart of our worst enemy Satan?

“For what I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me. Job 3:25 (NASB)

Let us search dear brothers and sisters for the pain of our past and the harm done by others that still has a place in our hearts.

How are we to know this? Do we see these past behaviors today, in others?

Protect yourself and others. Ask yourself. “Where have I seen this before? Do I really see it now or do I think I see it?”

Is there an expectation within me that this same harm is within others just waiting to be revealed, to harm, to wound (me) again?

Are our wounds so deep and many that all people are potential enemies to cause pain, rejection and disappointment? If yes, then YES this new pain is unavoidable and will continue to be!

Do only the rare few seem faithful? In fact are they also kept at arms length?

Do they see a happy face and hear complimenting words almost too sweet? Do we want them to like us because if they do we believe they will not harm us? That is a conflict. How can we feel safe when we believe things about people as we do? God knows our pain and struggle loved ones. He is pursuing us.

Does anyone really have our heart, has anyone besides actual children? Do we choose solitude to protect us?

“Jesus has my whole heart!”  Oh, that it would be so, dear brothers and sisters, for all of us.

If the very things we fear are coming upon us today, [Job 3:25] then the darkness of our past still occupies some rooms in our heart dear loved ones. If yes, then YES this darkness is an unavoidable truth.

Because these memories of harm are still alive in us we are prone to imagining them coming alive again. Thinking we see them, we speak of them to those few we trust. These same few may have their own set of harmful memories and are identifying with us but not really helping us.

A great fear of a return to our past pain is intolerable. Believing we have escaped it once we run from it when in fact we have never escaped it at all! We carry it as we run away. It goes with us forever until truly dealt with. Will it get into heaven? God is pursuing us loved ones.

These fears can and do continue to cause irrational even destructive choices. They are not irrational choices to us but are irrational and are very irrational to those they effect. Why so? Because they see no reason for our choices except if they are spiritually mature and aware of our past and have learned about these things. In that case you may be running from your rescuer!

Because of that which appears to be true to us we then judge those others harming them and ourselves, claiming to be true we speak just what the Accuser of the Brethren would have us speak over them. “But it is true!” True? NO he is the father of lies! It is never true. He has just reminded us of something true from our past.  It is False Evidence Appearing Real! F.E.A.R!

Our enemy has convinced us over what may be many years that we must fear our past, not be healed of it! It is his way of dashing relationships and hopes of joy and happiness! We felt free, even forgiven, because we were not in a relationship; but it takes a relationship with another human, for God to show us the lies still hidden in our heart!  Be it a friend or a spouse, God wants us healed and He knows WE MUST SEE IT for us to be healed. It will keep re-appearing until we see it.

This is absolutely unavoidable unless we gain the wisdom to defeat the enemy of our souls. We MUST mature in Spirit and Truth. Jesus is our healer! Listen to Him.

How are we to avoid such a pitfall?

”Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.” Psalm 141:3 (KJV)

Grasp the power that comes with our relationship in Jesus. Yes “in” Jesus. What has He taught that we still need to walk in? He has provided the Way. It is NOT automatic nor is it guaranteed! It is guaranteed to work IF we choose to walk in His Ways. We must put our past to death like Christ on the cross did our sins against Him.

“And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, [why?] for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them [us] before our God day and night.” Revelation 12:10 (NASB77)

Satan accuses us before God so he will not hesitate to accuse others before us. Out of our heart our mouth speaks. (Matt 12:34) Life and death is in the power of our tongues. (Proverbs 18:21) Which accusation will we speak to their harm and our own?

“I said, “I will guard my ways, that I may not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth as with a muzzle, while the wicked are in my presence.” Psalm 39:1 (NASB77)

Also, I may see them as wicked when they are not wicked at all. What have I spoken that is from the Accuser?

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14 (NASB77)

Loved ones, when our mouth accuses then our hearts have been taken captive by the enemy and the pain he reminds us of. He resurrects it in us so we can hang ourselves on it. It is not the cross of Christ it is the tree Judas hung himself on in the blindness of his error and the grief he brought upon himself.

We must escape like a bird from the snare of the trapper. Jesus came with salvation, power and the kingdom.

“And He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear, And will trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:3 (NASB77)

“My mouth will speak wisdom; And the meditation of my heart will be understanding.”  Psalm 49:3 (NASB77)

Forgive ALL who have harmed you dead or alive! Be restored to those who never meant harm but you have harmed out of your own fears.

“If we remain in His grip, how far from His heart can we be!”

In the guardianship of Christ,

Michael
