Globalism: Violence is not love, therefore not God.

Who will the authorities choose to respond to?

Where do we stand in this conflict we see? How do we wish to respond in order to accomplish our “peace?”

John 18:36 (NASB) (Jesus before Pilate)
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” [“I AM no threat to your kingdom Pilate]

John 18:37 (NASB)
”Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

Here is where we need to see the separation of thought. Jesus is not saying He came into this world to be a king in this world. He is saying “Yes, as you say [Pilate] I am a king.

Then Jesus addresses the vindicating question Pilate is asking. [So Jesus, what have you come to do in my kingdom?] “For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

John 18:38 (NASB)
³⁸  Pilate *said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews and *said to them, “I find no guilt in Him.

Pilate had the same attitude that we find in today’s society. “What is truth?” Truth was not a threat to Pilate. “I find no guilt in him.” On the other hand the pressure Pilate felt was obvious in suggesting the people choose between Barabbas and Jesus.

Here we are today. “Truth” is not a threat to those in much of our society. To them it is subjective and so without absolute definition. Take public benefits, “a convenient truth.” They want what they want, especially if it was once given to them, presented to them, as some sort of “right,” a benefit presented as truth. When you corrupt the understanding of a people this way you then solve the problem of moving the government in the desired direction. The government wants what it wants also, control and peace while exerting control. As this “truth or right” spreads across the world, the real truth which sets us free is cast aside for the truth that seems more practical but actually binds and cripples. The globalist agenda knows this.

When threatened, anger and anarchy are in the hearts of those deprived of these truth/rights. Is this what those who know the truth are to respond to? Believers also receive government assistance in some form. Are we angry? May it never be! Are we not to be the Jesus of our times standing before the public authorities. Do we grasp the voluntary actions linked to our destiny as Jesus did? Who will the authorities choose to respond to?

Again a war is raging across the sea. This time the enemy has infiltrated our shores, years ahead, in preparation for this onslaught against our Christian foundations, that which makes us precious to this world. The Truth of our founding is under attack indirectly by the insecurity that anarchy presents directly.

Imposing their will obliterates democracy and so our foundations. Democracy requires the leverage of Christianity in the hearts of its people. No other religion can satisfy the requirement, not even Judaism. If the God of Christ Jesus is renounced, the democracy by system is taken over by forces of desolation. I fear we have judged Neville Chamberlain by seeking “peace in our time.”  Who will our authorities choose to respond to?

“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

This world (as it is now) is not His kingdom. Our response is not to be violent. Day by day via TV and Radio we hear and see our world’s depravity and outright insanity. This contrast to the kingdom of God must escalate but not without our conscious decision to fight this fight the only way He said to fight it.

But Michael, …. But Michael nothing! It is HIS Truth that sets us free, NOT just any truth one might argue as practical or expeditious in the moment.

Which “truth” will our authorities respond to? We already know.

If there is to be any delay to the withering death of this lost and dying world, it must be at the discretion of God Himself, and certainly to His purpose alone.

”The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” [Peter is speaking to believers.]

”May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.” [Love is patient, it keeps no account of violations…aren’t we glad. Love endures.]

”For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.” [His Truth holds the promise and the path to it.]

I do believe we are in a God ordained reprieve of time. It has a purpose.

That which the Psalmist (David) prayed is being lived out today. Persecution wrongly applied, deceit in their agenda, deceit against the “quiet” population, the utterly fact-less “Aha aha” moments in the media and the Godless “Left.”  We see unprecedented and “agendafied” resistance to our own democratic system, founded upon Judeo-Christian principles and those being “of God” first and foremost.

Democracy (a Christian concept) is on the verge of disappearing as it did in 1941 Germany. Today and again, the infusion of Muslim refugees (a non-Christian agenda) has brought Germany, a democracy, to the brink of utter overthrow as its Christian foundations are pummeled into the same obscurity and unidentifiable character we saw back then. This is the globalist agenda in play. EVERY nation must be collapsed by whatever means whether it be America, N. Korea, Russia, Israel, ALL nations.  The leader of Germany is a globalist. How many others are there? How many sit in the Halls of Congress?

Do NOT join in the “Aha aha moments” thinking as they want you to think. For they devise wicked Godless plans, they shed innocent blood, they entice you to run rapidly to evil. They are a false witness uttering lies and your soul is being prompted to spread strife among fellow human beings. They lift an empty hand against he who has been set in authority as though the One who set him there is not watching?

Shall their term “Progressive” not be the most ironic of terms? For hell shall be filled with the Godless no matter what term they identified with, because of the hatred that was in their hearts, hearts that exalted themselves above God, rejecting His merciful appeals until it was too late.

Cry out I say! Cry out to the only Salvation available, cry out and “ask” to see and understand clearly and then DO NOT resist Him and His Word. He is offering you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Keys you must have to enter in.

Don’t be too hard on Mr. Comey. You too must “CYA” while you still have the chance!

Our beloved Christ threw down some serious threats directly from our Father in heaven.   Now, don’t get distracted and give me this judgmental stuff about using this “CYA” anachronism. Distract is what they do!

Wake up! Heed the warnings! Here are two threats, to our eternal life, out of many that Jesus spoke in truth and love and out of His responsibility to be Salvation to us in the name of Father God, “Yahweh, Salvation.”

²⁹  ” For to everyone who has shall more be given, and he shall have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. “And cast out the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Your new relationship with God via reconciliation (Romans 5:10) is only the beginning of what you “have.” If we truly “get it,” then we understand or learn imperatively that as we give of what we freely received, mercy, grace, forgiveness, love,  “more” shall be given (us); and an abundance. (Romans 5:17.)  IF however we do not “get it” if we do not give as we have freely received, then that which we do “have,” (our reconciled relationship to God,) will be taken away resulting in our expulsion into outer darkness. Does this not also sound like the slave who did not forgive a debt?

Warning: In Matthew 18:27-35, (I paraphrase) the unmerciful slave who was forgiven much by his king, failed to learn from the king and failed to forgive another slave’s debt. He was handed over to the torturers by the same king that forgave him in the first place. Jesus then concludes the parable by getting to the heart and purpose of the story. He is warning them to “CY-,” yes, his own disciples, by saying, “My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.” Jesus is saying to all of us, do this (from your heart) in order to “Cover Your …!

“Whoa Jesus, I thought you loved me?” His response likely would be, “It was never about My not loving you, it became about you not loving Me, about you not keeping My commandments, about you not using the wisdom I gave you, about your not doing as I instructed you. After all, I gave you all things pertaining to life and Godliness. (2 Peter 1:3) Can He not say justly on that day, “I tried.” or will we “just”  know, as our conscience either defends or condemns us on the day we stand before the Lord? (Romans 2:15-16 NASB)

Like the slave, what if you do not grasp the concept of life giving mercy and by it the favor of your king? Now we know the warning, in fact, the threat to our eternal life. Jesus, speaking for Father God, speaking to those He loved and wanted to stay with, has said what will happen to any of us.

Loved ones, it is time to get serious! Are you going to search out the notes from God Himself and on an individual basis, CYA? Darkness and torment await those who do not.

You can be sure of your future only if you become a disciple of Christ, that is, one seeking and dedicated to becoming like Him. There is grace to sustain your effort.

The on-going life long question remains for all of us. That salvation, that free gift you once received freely, are you maintaining it, are you still sure you possess it or have you or are you giving it away unknowingly via disobedience?

We have a responsibility! We said, “Jesus be Lord of my life.” It is not about God loving you. Jesus loved all. It is about you loving God and especially His Son, and taking advantage of His protective measures.

God help us all because eternal life can be and will be lost by us if the protective measures of Christ, used by Christ, have not become ours in heart and soul. In them you must see God’s Holy attempt to “CYA.”

It’s getting too late to mince words loved ones. “Peace, peace,” is again being spoken of in the Middle East, in Israel.

Jeremiah 6:14 (NASB77) “And they have healed the brokenness of My people superficially, Saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ But there is no peace.”

Does God not know what is going on today? Do we mistakenly feel healed superficially? Is the peace process a distraction from peace through strength? Hasn’t every American President (except Obama) felt a responsibility to attempt peace in the Middle East? Why not the deal maker? He is not wrong to try. It simply will not be permanent if achieved at all.

Religion itself will become the outcast testimony of Christ. The strength of unbelievers, the Apostate, the Muslims, Atheists, Globalists, Progressives, and Liberals, will cast aside all but one religious house in a pacification process and the Pope leads that house. “As soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed.”  (Daniel 12: 7)

Today we exist in a reprieve of time. What are we going to do with it? I have a responsibility to warn you, all my fellow human beings, especially my brothers and sisters in the Lord. I respectfully appeal to you to CYA! I once got my employees to snap to it by beginning my rant at them with “Dammit, you guys!” They had never heard such from me before. It did move them. One is a missionary in Belize today. OK Tim and Carol his wife!  Come on loved ones. CYA!

Director Comey in “CYA”  Part 3

Who is distracting who? What if Korea is a sacrificial goat via war with the USA. What if China waits to claim Korean territory after Korea has suffered a devastating response from us? Will Korea or someone else launch an EMP during or just after the melee to paralyze the USA, resulting also in Israel’s jeopardy, taking America out of the picture at least temporarily?  

Where does the above scenario leave the globalists? If China takes over the world leadership, the globalists then have to over take them. How easy do you think that will be? It is impossible for the world to be ONE, except in one case. This is the absurdity of the globalist agenda. Never the less we are faced with this battle because we are the big dog in the world. Meanwhile, China has its own agenda while we fight within, a house divided. I am impressed that I literally just heard Rush Limbaugh say the same thing.

There can be no ONE World order if one country of significance stands separately. The only way a one world order or new world order will happen is when all nations VOLUNTEER gladly to join. This will take a biblical event.

Relentlessly, the globalists thought they had won and they did almost have us with Hillary. Looking to Hillary’s predecessor, her reluctant but compelled to the extravagant endorser, what did we allow by falling for undefined “Hope and Change?”

The evidence of a hidden agenda became compelling to Americans. “O” was presented as a Christian because a Muslim would not have been a viable candidate. We see ulterior motives, the defamation of America, the indebting of America, the burdening of America’s economy via regulation, the protecting of aliens, the spineless foreign policy that was purposely invoked to favor our enemies, it has always been about the fall of America and then Russia or Israel next, as the situation dictated. As “O” said, “elections have consequences.” “O’s”  disdain for America served the globalists agenda well.

Unfortunately, honor and integrity are estranged from many in government, having been superseded by “CYA” as the sustaining force to ones own career (life.) This is some of the lawlessness we were warned about. Caution….. lest we hate ourselves into hell by hating others.

Are the “globalists” the puppets of God? They serve the anti-Christ in policy but unknowingly serve God as puppets in his ultimate purpose and plan. We know the enemy sorts and sifts, just as Peter was told the enemy would. God, in His love toward all, supports and saves the ones who endure the sorting and sifting. We… must endure this lawlessness by love and the Holy Spirit.

The left elected this guy of feckless leadership, which means spineless, who also had a plan and purpose wrapped in subterfuge.

We see now national indebtedness beyond comprehension. We see an invasion not so much now at our southern border as it has quietly taken place in the heartlands of America, in Detroit, where communities are growing that have their own set of laws which they are voting to implement locally as we speak; as our own democratic process is being used against us.

Immigrants and refugees should not be allowed to vote for 5 years anywhere. Neither should undocumented aliens ever be allowed to vote.

I wonder what might Mr. Comey have in his notes about Mr. Obama, or Mrs. Clinton? Is Mr. Comey now under a full court press by order of the shadow government? How will he fair against the truth that will come out, or will he get that far? What he means as “retribution will come back as prosecution!”

Mr. Comey’s notes about “them” could be helpful in his negotiations with the Trump Justice Department. In recent days Comey seems to be waning in his effort to trouble President Trump. Has Mr. Comey been told to lighten up by his puppet masters? Are they concerned as to what will come out? Did Mr. Comey project himself again without permission?

Director Comey in “CYA” Part 2

In exonerating Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Comey stood with the heir apparent to the Obama White House and with his immediate boss Attorney General Lynch. They, the Clinton’s and the cabal they run with had gotten away with it, … again.

Behind the scenes many others with the same globalist agenda, one we seem yet to believe exists let alone recognize, were preparing to take America the rest of the way off the cliff via Hillary Clinton. They were drooling as they imagined America falling into the abyss of forgotten nations; Liberty herself landing in the subjective mire of the globalist melting pot, of the coming One World or New World Order, America’s glory never to be seen again!

Observing our nation, you wonder what motivates Mr. Putin? He is ANTI-Globalism first and foremost. He did us a favor if he exposed Mrs. Clinton for who she and her cohorts are. Our own mainstream media does the very same thing when given the chance to manipulate! The global media chafes at being used against its own liberal dedication. Wiki-leaks, a prodigal democrat (now murdered) or whoever simply dropped a dime on Hillary and her nefarious plans. The Democrats blame the Russians for losing the election; a predictable move. The real reason hides behind this smoke screen of blame. It is SOP for the progressive globalists.

Did Director Comey ask himself, “But what if Trump wins?” “Hillary looks sick!” The public is asking, “How does she get away with these things, when we do not?” Our intelligence communities know a lot about how the public is thinking. Did Director Comey see the writing on the clubhouse wall? Did he see a need to “CYA?” All of us who were ready to fire him would certainly say, “Oh Yeah or you are history.”

Re-opening the investigation of candidate Hillary Clinton 10 days before the election looked suspiciously like an “Ace” being played in Mr. Comey’s effort to CYA. Some in the public welcomed it as a return to sanity by the FBI director, as a vindicating abdication from allegiance to the presumed Seat of Authority. It was a meaningful departure from Comey’s perceived involvement in a scandalous effort to insure Hillary Clinton’s victory. No wonder candidate Trump and the public cheered Mr. Comey. He indeed was able to look minimally just and fair albeit at Hillary’s expense, a price she should have been paying in the first place. This shroud of justice is SOP in the game of CYA at the FBI, especially when working for the DNC and not the USA, critical when you have to CYA.  As Forest Gump might say “Liberal is as liberal does.”

Are we missing the “forest” for the trees? Are we not seeing the traitorous cabal against America as it pursues its agenda with rabid ferocity in this pathetically determined as well as distracting effort to remove President Trump from office? “This is futile and unwarranted, how can they do this?”

When a Republican candidate from Montana, the land of the free and the home of the brave, decides to NOT tolerate an insolent reporter and physically resists him, the liberals pale in disbelief? The Rino’s suggest an apology is appropriate, really? We represent the high ground? Ask the people at Masada, in Israel. Our enemy, an enemy of God and His Christ, who is seeking the high ground of authority! They are like the worshipers of false gods in Israel on the high places. We forget the campus violence perpetrated and promoted by the “Left” in opposition to conservative speakers. The law was not enforced then. Should violence become our way? NO, it is on record as being theirs. We should enforce existing laws and we should implement our will by taking our own swing at them in the voting booth. Republicans also should see our resolve and be sure of our resolve. I recently sent a note with my last donation to the RNC. NO MORE money until you all in the RNC get behind President Trump. NO MORE!

How can they (the losers) do these things in resistance to POTUS? The Globalists are relentless in their “post constitutional” thinking. That is right. They are now unrestrained and justified in their own thinking. They only site the Constitution if it serves them.

How many of them are still entrenched in our government and have secretly thrown our Constitution aside by leaking secrets and sensitive private conversations, throwing their oath to support and defend the Constitution aside? The globalist agenda has their allegiance.

Now because of President Trump’s unexpected election, they have few choices left in order to re-impose their plan. They are shameless in what they will do. Their use of religion to block the prohibition of immigration from certain countries is a smoke screen. At its heart it is strictly about blocking the President’s plans and promises. America must fall in the eyes and hearts of the globalists. Bribery, lies, anarchy, immoral efforts, murder, all such things as seen today, personify one of the two parties. We are either globalists or nationalists.

As globalists willing to circumvent or eviscerate  the Constitution, they are traitors one and all. They are also biblical puppets, doomed, forever unless they wake up! They will not wake up if we do not wake up and set an example for them to consider!

The Constitution and God are inseparable. If one goes both go!

Will Jesus depart in your unbelief?

John 8:31-59 (NASB)

”So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; ³²  and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

By the time we read verse 59 “They picked up stones to throw at Him.” What happened? “…Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple.”

Will Jesus depart in your unbelief?   “I DO BELIEVE,… Michael!!

Maybe you do, maybe you do not. Jesus sets the standard for believing.

1. If you continue in My word…” “Continue” #3306 meno’ to stay, abide, remain. It infers, do not depart from. “Word” 3056 “logos” an embodying idea statement, a speech. (Why not Rhema?  They did not have the Holy Spirit to guide them to a place of understanding.)
2. “…then you are truly disciples of Mine.” Disciple means student, but in Jewish terms, it means one who fervently desires and is committed to become LIKE his Rabbi.
3. “and you will know the truth…” “Truth” #225 “Aletheia” = truth. From root #227 “alethes” = true, from the root word #1 A, = Alpha or number 1

“You shall know number 1 and number 1 will set you free; or you shall know Alpha and Alpha will set you free!” Jesus is the Alpha… Rev 1:8.  Jesus is the truth. John 14:6

Saying we believe is not enough. According to Jesus, one must abide, be a disciple, be free (in heart) be free in deed, all by the Son’s Words. Otherwise we will, according to this story, reject the person speaking and the truth which sets us free, being lost forever in the process. “Oh not me!” said Peter.

Truth does not set us free, HIS truth sets us free! Truth can birth anger, unforgiveness and hatred, seeding our hearts for destruction! HIS truth is meant to work in our hearts as a shield against these poisonous seeds. Are we letting Him?

“But Michael, they are doing what they are doing, it hurt me, it is hurting others, it is wrong!”  So God does not know this? Is there no vengeance? So, you never did…?

In “righteous judgment” we do see the truth. We then by HIS discipline, which we have chosen to learn and practice, we intercede, we intercede only! His Way is our way, as those who would call themselves disciples or followers of Christ.

In the noted scriptures, Jesus Himself challenges them and their so-called “belief.” He is not being cruel. He is playing a devilish prosecutor before it is too late for them! After his resurrection many will believe.

For us, Jesus has already been resurrected. Our hope will remain by our personal experience with God and the enlightenment of His Word by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said to them in John 8:47 (NASB) “He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God.”

NONE of us were of God until we wanted to hear! We heard by the Word of God. It stands to reason we will be more, “OF GOD” as we glean more from His Word. It was His kindness that led us to repentance. (Romans 2:4 NASB) We still had to choose to respond, to repent via the renovation of the Holy Spirit in us.

Our eternal life is to begin here now, by our reconciliation to God through the death of His Son. There is no liberty for anger or bitterness in our eternal life. Will His Word then set us free now, renovating us into a dwelling place for God by the Holy Spirit? Or, shall love end in us by confrontation and persecution? Will we be the ones picking up stones?

As you have read some of my posts have you considered stoning me or did you quietly say “no thanks?”

Here is a verse the Lord gave me while writing this post.

Matthew 13:52 (NASB) ”And Jesus said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure things new and old.”

You truly are reading things the Holy Spirit has shown me over the last 36 years as well as today. Is the kingdom waiting for you?

“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

I have just finished a multi-week process called “Cleansing Stream”. I have come to understand how His presence is a daily Cleansing Stream. I can move forward, there is no backward, there is no more upstream wasted effort. I must however shed the rocks from my knapsack, there is NO choice. In doing so, Holy Spirit and I are afloat but yet not in total control.

The goal is to stay inside the banks of this flow. Our Father is the flow, the banks are the reachings of Christ. No that was not a typo. The Lord’s teachings reach out like He did for Peter who was sinking. Every teaching speaks to another rock that must go from our knapsack of offenses. Even a strong hand can only keep us from drowning for so long. Our burdens MUST be released. What if Peter had fought Jesus, in that stormy sea?

This program is for everyone. I am not a novice. I benefited. To all you senior followers, you want to do this.

I highly recommend you seek this program and invest the relatively short time required and reap the exceptional benefits. After all, a greater awareness of God’s presence is ….. well, you know.

This morning as always, after praise, during my prayer time I prayed the following and then prayed for “My 100” neighbors and also just as many or more personal friends… by name.

I keep two lists. I suggest you consider doing the same.

My load is never lighter than when I have interceded for others.

“You Lord are my provider, my Victory, my Healer, my Salvation and Deliverer. You will show me the path I am to walk, sustaining me by Your Wisdom and Grace.

My existence will be a testimony to You Lord, glorifying You Lord, adding to the numbers that will proclaim Your loving Lordship in grateful words of praise, in songs of thanksgiving, magnifying Your power and love.

 Oh the choirs of praise, the glorious harmonies that will fill the sky, echoing, no reverberating across the vaulted ceiling of the universe. Our hearts will swell with gladness, can we even breath enough while crying in holy thankfulness.

 Holy, Holy, Holy is Your name Oh God, our Salvation. We worship You now, in view of then oh Lord.

Now let us put up the sail is this stream while You man the tiller Lord Jesus, while You Father are the Wind in our sails. For You equip us Lord but we must raise the sail. We must trust our Pilot, our Helmsman, as He reads the Wind and sets our fastest tack to our Holy destination, for He takes us to where we will be with Him, always.

Oh, He is our blessed Hope, the trustee and good of our eternal life. We bless You Lord and we are blessed, in You Lord.

Carry our praise oh Holy Spirit, for it is written, it is declared here and now, through-out this earth, oh blessed Lord, … in Jesus name.”

With everything that is happening and will happen, loaded with praise for our deliverer, let us remember our last line of defense is to forgive anyone for anything. Our first line of defense is to guard against offense in the first place.

The prophets were stoned or killed but can now look back and say, “I told you so.”

It is with ever increasing faith that I share these posts.

In a recent post “A day of inspiration” the Holy Spirit said the Republicans would not support President Trump the way they could and should. We saw this. The fear of man would play too great a role.

Why is it the fear of man? Because it is the absence of the fear of God.

If God was involved in the forming of the Constitution and I certainly believe He was, then rejecting the Constitution is the same as rejecting God and His divine infusion of content.

The reason we see “some” Democrats, all Progressives, and Rino’s (Republicans in name only) rejecting the authority rightfully assigned to the President is because in their minds the Constitution is no longer applicable when considering their agenda. It does not work for them. They have rejected the very document and its content, its laws, which they swore to uphold and defend. Yes, they have gone way beyond our puzzled confusion over their behavior. We must understand where their convictions lie and then we will clearly grasp why they are supporting anarchy in various forms. Yes, this is treasonous but more than that it is prophetic. Do we know what that means?

The embracing of a globalist agenda by many now in power is the shadowy presence behind all the resistance we see. Globalism does not tolerate a Constitution other than its own. Mr. Trump calling for a return of a Great America is absolutely against their plans. This group is a powerful adversary determined to bring America to her knees.

Maybe we need to consider doing just that, being on our knees but for God’s will to be done not to win against them. In winning against them it is clear to me that we would be winning against God’s will and what He has prophesied albeit a temporarily victory for us in any case.

So… what must be in our hearts for God to validate our prayers for restoration? Restoration of what? What would He want to see happen in whatever time He would spare us before darkness has its prophesied hour? Is our happiness enough or is our preparedness for kingdom living more likely to persuade Him, seeing that He desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 Pet 3:9) And there is Acts 3:19-23

¹⁹  “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
²⁰  and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,
²¹  whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.
²²  “Moses said, ‘THE LORD GOD WILL RAISE UP FOR YOU A PROPHET LIKE ME FROM YOUR BRETHREN; TO HIM YOU SHALL GIVE HEED to everything He says to you.
²³  ‘And it will be that every soul that does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

Daniel 12:7-10 (NASB77)

”And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed.
⁸  As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?”
⁹  And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.
¹⁰  ” Many will be purged, purified and refined; but the wicked will act wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.”

The fear of God brings one into submission to the Word of God. As a nation we have strayed far from the reverence precipitated by the content and sureness of scripture. The fear of God has been cast aside by a majority. In a democracy this is disaster.

In these tumultuous days, one’s own heart and that of those within our circle of influence must be protected. We must seek to purge ourselves of all that is not love. In doing so we purify ourselves by the love of Christ, that is kingdom love, God’s love. We will be refined as the gold of our new character bears the heat of persecution and trial, “enduring” unto our actual salvation.  (Matt 24:13)

There is no death, only victory or damnation!

“Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!”

In prayer this morning the question came to me, “Why did Jesus cry out?”

We all remember the famous words of Jesus in Mark 15:34 KJV, “My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?”

We have heard, “Oh God can’t look upon sin!” which is not in the scriptures. It is true that God can and does at times hide His face from us, which is different.

Recently in a Passover Shabbat study I attend, Psalms 22 came to my attention. It is one of many Old Testament verses quoted by Jesus during His life.

Psalm 22:1 (NASB) “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning.”

It seemed to me that Jesus had something else in mind when He cried out, quoting this verse.

John 8:28 (NASB) “So Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.”

Jesus goes on to say in (John 8:29 (NASB) “And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.”

Now maybe you can see what I am seeing. Jesus just spoke of being crucified and then about NOT being left alone, or forsaken.

Can we allow our mind to venture out a little? Jesus was also called the Son of David. See Matthew 9:27, 12:23, 15:22, 20:30, 21:9, and Luke 1:32 where the prophesy of the Messiah is spoken.

Why would it be so far fetched that Jesus would cry out His (other) Fathers words as spoken in Psalms 22? They were inspired also yes? What would He mean by doing so? Might He be pointing to something other than what we have thought for so long?

Jesus knew this song of David. David was a man after God’s own heart. Wasn’t Jesus also? When David wrote this Psalm he was in distress. The Psalm was written hundreds of years before Jesus was born.

We can accept the idea that as the Son of God and the Son of Man, Jesus has two fathers he can follow even as we often follow the honorable aspects (and dishonorable aspects because we judged) of our earthly fathers while our heavenly Father is attempting to bless the good we have learned as He tries to get us to renounce the bad, and does this all at the same time!

David cries out in apparent desertion in PS 22:1-2 and yet in the next verse, ”But thou art holy, O thou that inhabits the praises of Israel.”  Yes David, God is sovereign in the universe no matter what we are experiencing. Now God, as the Son of God is experiencing distress as David did.

Is Jesus quoting Psalm 22, reminding those nearby of the prophesy, knowing they have memorized it also, and sung it themselves? Maybe over the next three days they will ask their Rabbi to read it to them?

Hanging there, is Jesus saying to them as they watch and to us, “I know what this looks like but God is Holy! I am not forsaken any more than David was! I trust the Almighty Father!” In light of Psalm 22 and the hind sight of the resurrection, this is huge! It was His intention, I believe, to clarify the event as divine!

And then we might not wonder any longer what Jesus thought. He knew the Word, “…be Thou not far off…” in Psalm 22:19. How can we think Jesus was actually forsaken or if He even thought He was?

And again in Psalm 22:24 (KJV) “For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, He heard.” Surely here of all places, Jesus is afflicted. Then God did not hide His face from Jesus! Let us put to death the idea that God was not looking or does not look upon sin. It is an affront to His Holy Omniscience and love for us.

On the contrary whatever Jesus is experiencing, feeling, thinking, HE KNOWS, and we should know, “…neither hath He hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, He heard.”

Why did Jesus cry out? Not because He was forsaken but to claim He was NOT forsaken!

Jesus was not forsaken and we are not either! You may have already felt that but now you know better for sure.

We are not alone when we cry out to God, Jesus within cries out with us.”
